Multi-Engine

Multi Engine Add-On, MEI and Multi-Engine Time Building

Multi-EngineTraining

Built in Van Nuys. Expanded to Oxnard for One Reason: Better Multi-Engine Training.

One Source Aviation’s home is Van Nuys Airport, where we’ve built our reputation for professional flight training. As we carefully planned the launch of our multi-engine program, we elected to open a dedicated satellite campus in Oxnard specifically to support multi-engine ratings, time building, and MEI training.

The goal was simple: create an environment where students can focus on flying, train efficiently, and get the maximum value from every multi-engine hour. The result is a purpose-built training location that complements our Van Nuys campus while providing an outstanding platform for twin-engine training.

KOXR: More Flying. Less Waiting.

At Oxnard Airport, you’ll benefit from:

  • Shorter taxi times
  • Less traffic congestion
  • Faster access to practice areas
  • More opportunities for approaches and training maneuvers

The result is simple: more of your money goes toward actual flight training instead of sitting on the ground with both engines running.

For pilots seeking a Multi-Engine Add-On, accelerated training, MEI certification, or affordable twin time building, Oxnard provides one of the best training values in Southern California.

Multi-Engine Time Building

Build the Multi-Engine Time Employers and Insurers Want to See

Earning your Multi-Engine Rating is only the first step. In today’s competitive aviation job market, quality multi-engine experience can help set your resume apart, especially when applying for airline, charter, corporate, and professional flying positions. Many employers also require a minimum of 50 hours of multi-engine flight time, making it essential to build experience beyond the rating itself.

Multi-engine time is also a common requirement for aircraft ownership, rental privileges, and insurance approvals. Many insurance providers require pilots to meet specific multi-engine experience minimums before they can act as pilot in command of a twin-engine aircraft.

That’s why One Source Aviation offers dedicated multi-engine time-building packages designed to help you reach your goals efficiently and affordably.

Build Time. Build Experience. Build Memories.

Our Multi-Engine Time Building Program is designed to be more than just logging hours.

We’ll pair you with an instructor you genuinely enjoy flying with, creating a comfortable and professional environment where you can build multi-engine time while exploring destinations you’ve always wanted to visit. Whether it’s a coastal airport you’ve never flown into, a mountain destination, or a cross-country trip you’ve been saving for the right opportunity, we’ll help make those flights happen.

This isn’t checkride preparation or maneuver-based training. It’s an opportunity to gain valuable multi-engine experience through real-world cross-country flying while enjoying the freedom that makes aviation rewarding in the first place.

What Makes Our Program Different?

  • Personalized instructor pairing for a better flying experience
  • Real-world cross-country flying in our GTN 750-equipped Beechcraft Duchess
  • Flexible destination planning based on your interests and goals
  • An enjoyable, professional way to build valuable multi-engine PIC time
  • A cost-effective path toward career, insurance, and ownership minimums

Instead of spending hours flying the same maneuvers around the practice area, you’ll be building meaningful multi-engine experience, visiting new airports, and creating memories along the way. Because some of the best flying you’ll ever do shouldn’t feel like training at all.
