Completing his ratings at One Source Aviation, Aidan is now part of the passionate team of flight instructors here. With hundreds of hours of teaching experience, and many learners becoming licensed pilots under his instruction in the last year alone, Aidan’s goal is for you to achieve your piloting goals in the most efficient and cost saving way possible! Whether you are looking for that initial Private Pilot certificate, or wanting to fly further and faster with a High Performance/Complex endorsement, Aidan will see you through to being a safe and competent pilot.
Jake Benton
Flight Instructor
Completed all ratings at One Source Aviation, Jake is a passionate and dedicated flight instructor whose love for aviation began in high school. From early discovery flights to hundreds of hours in the cockpit, Jake has built a strong foundation both in and out of the classroom, bringing extensive training experience to every lesson.
Known for making flight training both safe and engaging, Jake connects with students through a genuine enthusiasm for flying. Outside of aviation, Jake enjoys flying remote-controlled airplanes, snowboarding, and staying active at the gym. Students can expect a supportive and memorable learning environment-perfect for anyone ready to take their skills to new heights at One Source Aviation.
Jonathan Cernas
Flight Instructor
Jonathan is a bilingual flight instructor, fluent in both English and Spanish, born and raised in Los Angeles. With years of experience in flight instruction, Jonathan has a passion for aviation and sharing that knowledge with others. Outside of flying, Jonathan enjoys staying active through activities like cycling, hiking, and hitting the gym. A true advocate for an active lifestyle and the outdoors, Jonathan brings enthusiasm and dedication to everything he does.
Peter Wong
Co-Owner, Flight Instructor
Aviation has always been a central part of Peter’s life. Growing up with a father who was a general aviation pilot and spent 27 years as a mechanic for TWA, Peter was immersed in the world of airplanes from a young age. After the birth of his first child, he decided to pursue flying himself and quickly developed a deep passion for it.
As a flight instructor of One Source Aviation, Peter is dedicated to helping others discover the excitement and freedom of aviation. From guiding first-time pilots to refining advanced techniques, he strives to make every flying lesson clear, engaging, and rewarding.
Outside of aviation, Peter enjoys building and tinkering with electronics, motorcycles, and various other projects. He’s also an avid beekeeper and musician.
Peter is committed to helping others achieve their aviation dreams and sharing the joy of flying with every student.
